Personally, South Park is my all-time favorite go to show. I will watch South Park on Hulu for countless hours on end without ever feeling unsatisfied. South Park is a great show that takes trending news and formats it into a hysterical story line. Most recent, South Park's episode called "Member Berries", capitalizes on the National Anthem protests, internet trolling, presidential election, "black lives matter", transgender issues, and conservatism. For example in the episode, people went to a volleyball game to watch volley ball players sit out the National Anthem and then left right after, which I found completely humorous because they literally had the stands filled with people that just wanted to see who would sit out the national anthem and at the end they recorded the amount of people sitting out as the final score as if that was the actual game. Later in the episode, the National Anthem was revised to "Please stand or sit or take a knee" for the National Anthem, which left protesters clueless of what to do, and leaving Trump helpless to get people to hate him for the outrages things he does in order to get people to vote for Hillary. That is just two scenes that probably lasted two minutes in a thirty minute episode, just to show this episode is packed with entertainingly funny and relevant scenes. Can't beat it. I recommend this show to anyone that wants to have a great time filled with endless laughter. 5 out of 5.

Journal Assignment: Review Summary
For my Journal Project, media usage was recorded from September
12, 2016 to September 18, 2016. The media usage for this week was
extremely typical. For the week, I used my daily media going through my
usual routine of school, work and going to the gym. I am very busy during
the week and refrain from media use while in class or at work. On the
other hand, I listen to music through Pandora or YouTube to power through
workouts. In the little free time I have, I spend it playing video games
such as Doom, watching shows and movies on Hulu or Netflix, or browsing through
Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram.
After evaluating my media use, I learned that I spend almost all my free time for media usage, demonstrating that I should use my free time more wisely and find things to do to be more productive.

About me
Hello everyone,
my name is Brandon Kline and my current major is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). I am in my third semester at Frederick Community College. I am taking Introduction to Media to complete an arts requirement for a biology major at the University of Maryland (UMD). I plan on transferring to a four-year university such as UMD and then to get into medical school to pursue a career as a General Practitioner.
Furthermore, I am a lab technician at the United States Army Medical Research Institute for infectious diseases (USAMRIID). I work part-time, processing experimental requests and working towards my own publication. I prepare infected samples for transmission electron microscopy and image the samples through the electron microscope. I am working towards a publication in method development for Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy (CLEM).
Aside from school and work, I am a fitness enthusiast, training three hours a day for six days a week. My training consists of powerlifting and bodybuilding elements. My lifting routine, in general, is legs, torso, arms, rest and repeat. I begin my workouts with a compound movement such as bench, squat or deadlift. After a compound movement, I do plyometric exercises and then isolation movements. I plan to participate and place in powerlifting meets and bodybuilding competitions.
